Steve Puffenberger's prison documentary, "Changed on the Inside" won Best Unlimited Documentary in the 2012 168 Film Festival, a worldwide competition of "speed filmmaking" where participating producers have 1 week (168 hours) to shoot and edit a short film.
"Changed on the Inside" features interviews with three inmates at an Ohio correctional institution. Second in a series on discipleship, it explores how Christ transformed these men, and how they are actively discipling others.
Steve Puffenberger's documentary "The Main Thing" won "Best Unlimited Documentary" and the "Evangelista Award" - for best telling of the core Christian Message - in the 2011 168 Film Project competition and festival. Festival screenings concluded Saturday April 2nd with an awards ceremony that handed 24 awards to 11 of the 21 finalists out of the record 76 films screened in the 9th year of this competition.
